Meet Your Counsellor

Hello and Welcome,

My name is Zena Finn and I am 50 years of age.

I hold a Master's Degree in Psychology,

with a Diploma in Professional Counselling

and a Diploma in CBT.

I am a member and accredited Counsellor with Complementary Therapists Accredited Association-CTAA. I use a blend of approaches, concentrating on behavioural, cognitive, person-centred and narrative approach.

In 10 years I have gone from being a life coach to adding to my knowledge to become a counsellor. I have a good client relationship with each client, as well as a long history of working with couples, both straight and gay. I enjoy working with couples in long and short-term relationships and with couples experiencing sexual or intimacy issues within their relationship. I also work with young adults with issues of sexuality and men coping with change and loss, which can all impact relationships.

I believe that online couples counselling can be hugely beneficial for certain individuals, particularly those who are housebound and/or disabled, carers who are restricted with their availability, parents who can not afford childcare, people who can not commit to regular appointments and those who are hearing impaired.

I am committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming, safe and confidential space where you can talk about thoughts and feelings freely.

Every couple is different, as a counsellor my role is to help you recognise and understand the communication, behavioural, sexual and emotional dynamics that might exist between you and your partner.

Couples counselling gets to grips with how you and your partner relate to each other.

No, I am not the "solution", I can not fix all of your problems. But it is no secret that relationships take a lot of hard work and we could all do with some help sometimes. I am here to listen without judgement, join you in questioning the chaos with understanding and help you break through the shadows with empathy.
